Nightlight Storytime

Our weekday morning family storytime is offered in the evening on the first Monday of each month. Join us for a 25-minute traditional storytime geared for ages 4 and under (but the whole family is welcome!) Pajamas and favorite cuddle toys encouraged.

This book discussion group meets at 4:00 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month. The library will borrow copies of the books to be read, so there will be no extra cost to you. If you are interested in joining the discussion, call 262-246-5181 and ask for Adele.

LabTime in the KidsLab

Drop by our KidsLab to imagine, explore, and create any time the library is open . . .

But Labtime is something new and different! LabTime is a special time when teen volunteers will assist and supervise special activities that are not generally available in the Lab. These include Dash robot, scribble machines, shrinky dinks, and more. Come by at your convenience during these time slots.

Grades 3 & up.

No registration. Just drop in!

Make It: Mandala Stone Painting

Try your hand at a popular craft trend – Mandala Stones. Learn the basics of how to create dotted mandala stone paintings, then design and make your own.

Library Board Meeting

The Library Board meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the library’s Quad/Graphics Room. The agenda for the next regularly scheduled Library Board meeting is normally published five days prior to the meeting, and may be revised up until 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

Friends of the Pauline Haass Public Library meeting

The Friends of the Pauline Haass Library is a voluntary, non-profit organization which has actively supported and helped the library serve the community since 1980. The Friends, who normally meet on the 3rd Monday of every other month, are currently concentrating on offering free educational & entertainment programs for adults, raising funds through their popular ongoing book sale and annual plant sale, and providing the funding for prizes for the teen summer reading programs.

Yearly membership fees are $5 for individuals and families, $15 and up for Patrons, and $25 for business memberships. This is a fun and hardworking group which is always looking for new & active members! Stop in the library to pick up a membership form, or call 262-246-5180 for answers to your questions.
