Family Storytime
Mar 14 @ 10:00 am – 10:30 am

Half-hour traditional storytime designed for ages 0-4. Enjoy stories, fingerplays, songs, movement and puppetry. Stay an additional 45 minutes for quiet together-time play in our early literacy play areas following each storytime. No registration. Just drop in!

LabTime in the KidsLab

Call 262-246-5182 to verify that a volunteer will be on duty the day you come in.
Drop by our KidsLab to imagine, explore, and create any time the library is open . . .

But Labtime is something new and different! LabTime is a special time when teen volunteers will assist and supervise special activities that are not generally available in the Lab. These include Dash robot, scribble machines, shrinky dinks, and more. Come by at your convenience during these time slots.

Grades 3 & up.

No registration. Just drop in!

Doggy Tales: Read to a Dog

Sign up for a time slot to read one-on-one to Dakota the Golden Retriever. Read aloud for practice, fun, or just some Doggy time. Registration is required. Please call 262-246-5182 to register for your 20-minute slot.

The Music of Friends with Ceol Cairde (Friends Program)

Irish musicians, Ceol Cairde, are back by popular demand to share the energy and spirit of traditional Irish music. Jigs, reels, hornpipes, and airs will be featured. Prepare to be entertained!

This FREE program is offered by the Friends of the Pauline Haass Public Library in support of the library’s mission of connecting area residents to ideas, information, and one another in a vibrant, welcoming environment.

Friends of the Pauline Haass Public Library meeting

The Friends of the Pauline Haass Library is a voluntary, non-profit organization which has actively supported and helped the library serve the community since 1980. The Friends, who normally meet on the 3rd Monday of every other month, are currently concentrating on offering free educational & entertainment programs for adults, raising funds through their popular ongoing book sale and annual plant sale, and providing the funding for prizes for the teen summer reading programs.

Yearly membership fees are $5 for individuals and families, $15 and up for Patrons, and $25 for business memberships. This is a fun and hardworking group which is always looking for new & active members! Stop in the library to pick up a membership form, or call 262-246-5180 for answers to your questions.
