LabTime in the KidsLab

Drop by our KidsLab to imagine, explore, and create any time the library is open . . .

But Labtime is something new and different! LabTime is a special time when teen volunteers will assist and supervise special activities that are not generally available in the Lab. These include Dash robot, scribble machines, shrinky dinks, and more. Come by at your convenience during these time slots.

Grades 3 & up.

No registration. Just drop in!

AP Exam Study Hours

The library will be open extended hours for students studying for AP exams. Whether you’re looking for a quiet study space, or a place to work with a small group, we’ve got it. We’ll also have snacks, study break activities (think coloring and crafts), and visits from Dakota the Therapy Dog. No need to register, but students must be in the library by regular closing time.

Book to Movie Night: Pet Sematary

Is the book always better than the movie? You be the judge at Book to Movie Night. Read the book before the event and we’ll watch the movie together. Stay after the film for a brief discussion. Imagine, design and build with the library’s LEGO bricks! Your creations will be on exhibit at the library.

Mystery Book Club (September – June)

Meetings are held on the the first Wednesday of each month (from September through June) at 7:00 p.m.The library will borrow copies of the books to be read or you can find a copy of your own. Nightlight Storytime

Our weekday morning family storytime is offered in the evening on the first Monday of each month. Join us for a 25-minute traditional storytime geared for ages 4 and under (but the whole family is welcome!) Pajamas and favorite cuddle toys encouraged.
