Christina Ward, Wisconsin Master Food Preserver and author of “Preservation-The Art and Science of Canning, Fermentation, and Dehydration” and “American Advertising Cookbooks-How Corporations Taught Us to Love Spam, Bananas, and Jell-O,” will talk about the science, history, and the practical ways you can enjoy the bounty of the harvest throughout the year. This event includes a slide presentation and talk with a demonstration of easy jam making.
