Step up your game by participating in a library reading challenge! Some challenges are year-round, whereas others are only available seasonally. All reading challenges are available on the Beanstack Tracker mobile app or on Beanstack online. If you don’t already have a free account with Beanstack, you’ll need to sign up before participating in a reading challenge.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Ages 0-Kindergarten
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a reading incentive program for the youngest readers/listeners, beginning at birth. As you log your child’s reading on Beanstack, you’ll be notified when you reach certain milestones and become eligible for prizes. This is an ongoing challenge, so join anytime!
24 Books Reading Challenge
Teens & Adults
Read 2 books a month (or 24 books total) by the end of the calendar year to receive an exclusive PHPL bookmark and be entered to win a Books & Company gift card. This is an ongoing challenge, so join anytime!
TeenTober Reading Challenge
Grades 7-12
Complete a special teen-only challenge to win a prize and earn a ticket for grand prize drawings. Offered annually during the month of October.
